MACKENZIE MORGAN

Hi, my name’s Mackenzie. I come from the countrified city of Richmond, Kentucky and now live in Nashville, Tennessee! But I am a very serious KY Wildcats fan. ;) I’ve been singing since I was 7 years old and haven’t stopped since. Now I’m 14 and have been at this for half of my life but I’m not backing down yet because there’s a lot more things I want to accomplish in my life. I have brown hair and blue eyes and was born on the last day of the year on December 31. (Party baby!!!) I have the best parents in the world who support me every step of the way. I have a dad who helps me stand strong and go for what I want in life and not back down and speak up for myself, and a mother who tells me like it is and can bring me back down to earth when I start worrying about things that are unnecessary. No one in my family sings except me, but my uncle can play the organ amazingly but never did anything with it and should have ;) I am proud to say I’m a Christian and love Jesus I have one pet, a dog, a border collie and lab mixed, named Mindy. I wanted an inside doggie but my dad has really bad allergies and wouldn’t let me . But one day I want a pet albino squirrel named Chico. And I’m not joking. I have the bestest friend in the whole wide world and her name is Mariah. We met when I was 18 months and she was 14 months, so you can say we’ve basically known each other our whole lives. She lives back in Kentucky but we cannot go a day without talking on the phone or txting. And we have to see each other at least twice a year. She’s even weirder than me, in a good way ;) I write songs with one of my best friends Chad Roland and love every minute of it when we write. It’s like a party. I have an awesome manager, Biff Watson who believes in me and is willing to take a chance on me ;) I play guitar and got my first guitar when I was eight but my fingers were too small to make any chords so I started back again Christmas of 2008 when I was 12. And my hands are still very small which is why I can fit my whole fist in my mouth. Literally. I love country music and pop so I drive everyone in the car insane changing the station back and forth lol I will have my first cd of all original music that I wrote with Chad, and by myself. It’s titled “Simple Little Me” because sometimes that’s how I feel in this world. Don’t let someone tell you you’re too young or have years ahead of you. We are lucky we are young because right now we have the ability to make a difference, and not when we turn 21. My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has helped me through every situation in my life and always will. And without Him I wouldn’t have anything and couldn’t do any of this. I make sure to thank Him every day for giving me all He has. And for all of you who have read this long letter, thank you. For spending 4 minutes of your time to hear about my life along with unnecessary things like squirrels and fists in mouths. You are a blessing to me and without you I wouldn’t have a chance at this.
